Minerals are mostly a forgotten group of food substances while minerals are as essential as the well known vitamins. 
It is poignant that doctors know about vitamins, but never talk about minerals. Doctors make blood tests to find disorders but a deficiency of minerals cannot be found in a blood test. Hair tests offer the right diagnose, in the cells of a hair.
Also certain symptoms can be an indication of a mineral deficiency.  
Even when one eats utterly healthy, it is possible that one suffers from a mineral deficiency. The food we buy has been cultivated generally on soils with a low level or even absence of minerals. If the minerals are not in the soil, the plant, the vegetable, cannot take it from there inside and will not be able to offer you your daily need for minerals. 

The stress factor 

Another reason why almost 75% of the world population has a mineral deficiency, is stress. Stress creates a chemical substance in the body that attacks and eliminates also minerals. Magnesium levels go down, to dangerous deficiencies. One gets signs, and these differ from person to person. These signs can be, in a case of magnesium deficiency: 

  • Cold feet 
  • Cramps in legs and feet
  • Pain in the muscles
  • Tinnitus
  • Heart palpitations
  • High blood pressure
  • Irritations
  • Too high bad cholesterol
  • Too low level of vitamin D
  • Restlessness
  • ADHD

  • Insomia: problems with sleeping, waking up frequently, waking up too early, sleeping during the day

It is not unimaginable that lots of human beings are diagnosed and treated for mental disorders that easily could/can be healed by offering vitamins and minerals, instead of antidepressants, sleeping tablets, or worse. An antidepressant does not balance a mineral deficiency. A sleeping tablet not either. When one takes medicine which is in fact not the right medicine one gets the symptoms of the medicine one takes. This is not so strange at all, but logic. So: one gets depressed really when taking antidepressants while one is not depressed for the reason the doctor assumes you are depressed of. Doctors make often wrong diagnoses, especially because also doctors are under high pressure, because of lack of time and a growing amount of patient. Be aware of the responsibility for your own body and health and do not make a God out of your doctor.
